Chance to Soar is a women owned non-profit that provides programs for principals and superintendents to improve campus culture and increase teacher morale. Educators are inundated with professional development options on academic content but rarely if ever are they provided with programs on how to handle the stress and mental health challenges in today’s educational environment. Chance to Soar was created to fill that gap. With a combined total of 50 years of industry experience, our founders, Dr. Andra Barton & Aletha Scheck, have created personal development programs around topics like boundaries, teamwork, adapting to change, stress reduction & self-care, etc. These programs are designed to build mindsets and habits that keep teachers engaged and motivated in the classroom for the long term.
